Mountains through the Clouds Matted:11"x14" I started off by exploring

I started off by exploring the area away from the Gastineau Channel and then headed back towards the parking lot along the water

From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains

As we descended on an angle it allowed the roads around the ponds to also angle versus their natural north/south and east/west routings

It was a much different day in the Denver area today then yesterday

With the Wells Fargo or Cash Register building a central point of the skyline I was able to make this the focus of the skyline in this frame

Mountains through the Clouds Matted:11"x14" I started off by exploringAs the airplane descended through the clouds it provided an interesting view over the mountains just outside of Boise. As we skimmed through the bottom of the clouds it provided a fog like view of the terrain below. As we moved through the sky I watched for interesting changes in the landscape and started taking some pictures over a small duration of time until we made our way into clear skies and final approach to the airport.
