As I walked up the steps to the State of Utah Capitol Building I noticed the leading line to the sizable building as the clouds started to part to allow some blue sky to appear as the storm rolled out of town

As some of our stormy and overcast conditions have moved on I headed to the same spot in late September this year as well to capture a similar image at sunrise

By this time the snow had started to turn to rain letting the grass of spring show through the wet snow

Due to the proximity to Los Angeles

When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake

As the color peaks I have been out photographing around the city and captured this image in Lakewood last week. Standing at the edge of the lake the color of the trees being reflected was vibrant and to add to this effect I moved my camera a little to add some blending of the colors in the image.
