Cutting Board- Maple End Grain 2 inches thick Size:16x22 The drawers are 7 1/2This is one of our thicker end grain cutting boards. It is a 2 inch thick maple end grain cutting board. End grain is a lot harder than top grain, so this makes a better cutting board because the end of the board is three times harder than the top or sides of a board so this is the end of boards turned upward. Even after cutting on this board for say 5 years you would just have scratches and no deep gauges, plus it will not splinter when you cut on
