於1964年出生在義大利北方的巴薩諾格拉帕鎮。曾在波隆那大學專攻藝術、音樂與表演藝術。她在偶戲、文本創作、青少年工作坊與成人劇場與朗讀訓練上投入了超過二十年的時間。同時，她也是一位多方位的作家。
