Antique French Double Sided Rosewood Travel Case, Nécessaire or Caddy for 2 Perfume Bottles Throw pillow Very good to excellent conditionA traveler's ncessaire in elongated form which looks like the 18th century billet doux, but is a little larger. I think this elegant wood one is in rosewood, but I'm not entirely positive. Beautifully crafted, you can see it is a double scent caddy, lined in claret red silk velvet and still fitted with the 2 original perfume and salts flasks, flacon, bottles. One has lost its silver cap but they do both have stoppers in place. Full measurements noted
