I stopped to see the view (which there was none) but soon noticed the frost on the trees in the area

This morning I noticed the light was mostly straight down the the numbered streets in the downtown area (if you are not familiar with downtown Denver they run on a SE/NW direction)

as I thought the wave of the stadium lighting would be interesting with the sun positioned over the stadium

Sunrise in Denver from Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" I stopped to see theIn the fall of 2012 I went to Sloans Lake to photograph at sunrise since it is the time of year the sun will rise directly over the city. As some of our stormy and overcast conditions have moved on I headed to the same spot in late September this year as well to capture a similar image at sunrise. Once again I waited for the sun to rise and little and positioned it at the Four Seasons which is the middle of the skyline from this perspective.
