Palacios Remondo, Rioja Blanco "Placet de Valtomelloso" 2019 Macabeo After the eruptions of 1730-1736100% Viura (aka Macabeo) from 34 year old, organically farmed vines, on a soft slope of the Monte Yerga in Alfaro, Rioja. It fermented in oval oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in 2,000 liter oak foudres. Only 18,400 bottles produced. White wine with aromas of orange blossom, white pear and brioche, a hint of chamomile.
