Towards the Door Size:24"x36" As I was walking around

As I was walking around the city I made it to Civic Center Park placing my camera on the ground to include the pavers as part of the image

but also close to the water itself

The metal on the building contrasting with the blue and aqua provides the interest to me and the focus of the details on the building

The challenge here was to position myself to capture the color reflection

Using a shallow depth of field I focused on the brick post and let the lines lead to the color in the background

Towards the Door Size:24"x36" As I was walking aroundWhile visiting Mexico City, I made my way to the Diego Garcia and Frida Kahlo House Studio Museum. While the residence was closed for renovations, I was able to walk around the exterior to photograph some of the architecture of the building. This photograph is the curving stairs leading up to the entrance of one of the studios.
