Growth in Downtown Denver Size:16"x20" As I neared Smith Lake

As I neared Smith Lake in the park I noticed a lone leaf in the water

I headed to Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge in the Flathead Valley one evening

Noticing this we quickly begun our trek back to the trailhead but not quick enough as some precipitation started to fall including a little snow

As I walked through Lower Downtown Denver out of the corner of my eye I noticed an interesting reflection

This was also taken a few summers ago in Glacier National Park and not far from where I saw the baby mountain goat

In Denver the past few years this is quite noticeable anywhere you look with new buildings sprouting up near Union Station and other locations. On this day as I was walking through lower downtown I looked up noticed the old and new elements of the buildings blending together. The new building is 1800 Larimer, also known as the Xcel Energy Building, while the old is the Denver City Cable Railway Company
